What You Will Achieve
In this role you will:
Perform manual and/or automated packaging and/or inspection duties as required by the operating unit
Changeover set up and assist with troubleshooting of all production lines
Perform line cleaning and clearances; verifies line is cleaned and cleared prior to starting a production order
Perform necessary process checks including but not limited to package checks hourly audits etc.
Monitors production output checks product quality and makes adjustment to ensure equipment is operating efficiently
Maintain entries into GMP documents with daily review for completeness & accuracy
Utilize computer skills to interact with multiple systems performing entries is systems such as but not limited to SAP AMPs (EBR) Serialization and WPM
Display robust communication between shifts
Train and mentor new colleagues and TCWs
Working safely and compliantly following all applicable SOPs and standards including recording of GMP documentation
Completing and maintaining all required training on time
Consistently displays Pfizer Core Value behaviors of Courage Excellence Equity and Joy
Utilize downtime effectively and learn production principles
Maintains training requirements per Site and unit goals
Other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Safety Orientation
LOTO
Unit safety audits and inspections
GMP record entries
Access to area specific gowning
Meets daily GMP requirements - with assistance
Maintains training requirements per Site and Unit Goals
Monitors production output
Checks product quality
Makes needed adjustments to ensure equipment is operating efficiently
Performs accurate and efficient Tier 0 handoffs with incoming and outgoing
Is the primary SME for critical program interfaces such as SAP / AMPs (EBR) /
Conducts area audits - GMP/5S/Safety
Conduct equipment changeovers on manual production lines
Weekend Rotation (participation) as a line leader/coordinator
Verifies that line is clean and cleared prior to starting production order
Perform material and finished goods reconciliation
Responsible for accuracy of batch record related documentation and batch record review
Complete LOTO line logs maintenance logs as needed
Complete visual inspection training and be able to perform visual inspections of parts.
Conduct equipment changeovers on automated lines
Conduct minor set up activities
Performs work in professional self-directed responsible and timely manner
Responsible for the direction of colleagues and TCWs while leading the work center / production line
Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)
High School Diploma or GED with 2 years of relevant experience
Proficiency in math and reading skills for understanding Standard Operating Procedures Good Manufacturing Practices (also cGMP) and Batch Record comprehension
Ability to follow instructions provided in written oral or diagram form
Capability to perform tasks under demanding conditions
Basic computer skills for data entry and equipment operation
Bonus Points If You Have (Preferred Requirements)
Experience in a pharmaceutical or manufacturing environment
Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
Familiarity with automated packaging equipment
Strong problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Excellent communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Familiarity and basic understanding of common AI tools and a curiosity for learning how they can be used to enhance productivity
Physical/Mental Requirements:
Considerable standing. Walking bending reaching and lifting up to 42 pounds.
Manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination is required.
This position requires the manual packaging of products.
Non-Standard Work Schedule Travel or Environment Requirements
This is a 3rd shift position from 11 pm until 7:30 am. Positions can be staffed across all three shifts based on business needs. Weekend holiday and overtime may be required to meet business or customer needs.
