Clinical Support Specialist PACE & Adult Day Health

At LIFE PACE we are dedicated to helping older adults live independently with dignity compassion and exceptional care. Were seeking a highly organized and motivated Clinical Support Specialist to support the daily operations quality initiatives training and compliance efforts of our PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) and Adult Day Health (ADH) programs.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys coordinating projects improving processes supporting clinical operations and working closely with leadership to ensure outstanding participant care.


As the Clinical Support Specialist youll play a key role in supporting the success of our clinical programs by coordinating quality initiatives staff education regulatory compliance and executive support.


Quality & Compliance

  • Support the PACE Quality Improvement Program (QIP) through data collection reporting and chart audits.
  • Assist with preparing documentation for regulatory audits accreditation reviews and compliance activities.
  • Track participant appeals and maintain required documentation.
  • Coordinate participant satisfaction surveys analyze results and prepare reports.
  • Assist with policy development updates staff education and policy attestations.
  • Partner with Quality and Compliance teams to ensure adherence to CMS state and organizational requirements.

Training & Staff Development

  • Serve as administrator of the organizations Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Coordinate onboarding orientation annual education and required regulatory training.
  • Monitor training completion and generate compliance reports.
  • Develop and maintain educational resources and departmental training programs.

Clinical Operations Support

  • Conduct chart audits for both PACE and Adult Day Health programs to ensure documentation accuracy and regulatory compliance.
  • Coordinate contractor orientation for the PACE program.
  • Assist leadership with quality improvement initiatives and operational projects that enhance participant care.

Administrative & Executive Support

  • Provide executive-level administrative support to the Chief Operating Officer of LIFE PACE and the PACE Manager.
  • Prepare reports presentations meeting materials and executive correspondence.
  • Compile operational and quality data and create monthly dashboards and Board reports.
  • Coordinate leadership meetings agendas minutes and follow-up action items.

Communication & Program Support

  • Partner with the Marketing Department to develop the Adult Day Health newsletter and other participant communications.
  • Participate on the organizations Safety Committee and support emergency preparedness planning.
  • Provide ongoing administrative and operational support to the PACE and Adult Day Health teams.

Requirements

CERTIFICATION LICENSES REGISTRATIONS:

  • N/A

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of an Associates degree in Healthcare Administration Public Health Business Administration or a related field; Bachelors degree preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience in project coordination program support or healthcare program management preferably within aging services long-term care or community health settings.
  • Experience working with regulatory compliance quality assurance or data management is a strong asset.
  • Familiarity with Adult Day Health PACE programs or related healthcare services is highly desirable.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS and ABILITIES:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively in both written and verbal forms.
  • Strong judgment discretion and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently while demonstrating initiative problem solving ability and accountability.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Customer service oriented with a commitment to supporting staff and participants with professionalism and empathy.
  • Collaborative team player who works well in multidisciplinary environments.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word Excel PowerPoint and Outlook; comfortable using technology and learning new software applications.
