Job Summary
The Document Control Specialist manages engineering procurement and construction documentation throughout the project lifecycle. This position ensures project records remain organized accurate current and readily accessible while maintaining revision control and supporting project compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain engineering drawing logs and revision histories.
- Process incoming and outgoing document transmittals.
- Manage Requests for Information (RFIs) submittals and engineering correspondence.
- Distribute revised drawings to project teams.
- Maintain electronic and hard-copy project files.
- Ensure documentation complies with company document control procedures.
- Track document approvals and review status.
- Coordinate document turnover requirements.
- Support project closeout documentation.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive project information.
- Generate document status reports for project leadership.
- Assist engineering procurement and construction teams with document retrieval.
Qualifications
- Associates degree or equivalent experience.
- 3 years of document control experience supporting construction or engineering projects.
Preferred Experience
- Data center or EPC environment.
- Experience supporting large capital construction projects.

Physical Requirements
- Office environment with occasional travel to project sites.
