Overnight Supervisor

What You Will Be Doing: 

    Lead and supervise the Stewarding and Housekeeping overnight teams in all aspects of the department and ensure standards are followed
    Coach housemen and public area attendant on any discrepancies in their areas 
    Submit maintenance reports/requests in Alice and follow up for completion 
    Check appearance of all employees to ensure compliance with Fairmont standards of appearance 
    Consistently offers professional engaging and friendly service 
    Supervise and maintain the sanitation of kitchen equipment and other areas assigned  
    Maintain inventory and record keeping for all dinnerware flatware and glassware order china glass and silver 
    Make routine inspections of all equipment and kitchen areas to ensure that cleanliness and sanitary procedures are maintained 
    Ensure all breakages and chipped items are taken out of circulation and inventoried  
    Ensure all equipment is in working order and report any items in need of repair  
    Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with OSHA requirements  
    Monitorand control labor costs  
    Partner with Hotel Security when handling emergency situations such as fire alarms medical emergencies and systems outages 
    Other duties as assigned 

Qualifications :

Your Skills and Qualifications: 
    2 years of supervisory experience preferably in Food& Beverage or Stewarding  
    Previous cleaning experience required  
    Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities  
    Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications preferred  
    University/College degree in a related discipline an asset  
    Highly responsible & reliable  
    Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment  
    Ability to work cohesively as part of a team  
    Ability to focus attention on guest needs remaining calm and courteous at all times
