Key Responsibilities The Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) implemented a new browser-based Medicaid information system in April 2023. The system is called PRISM which stands for Provider Reimbursement Information for Medicaid. PRISM contains subsystems that support Medicaid processes such as provider enrollment claims prior authorizations financials etc. Day-to-day responsibilities of this position: Supplemental Information
The vendor who developed PRISM also developed training material that documents how to use the new system including eLearning modules procedures quick reference guides etc. Moving forward DHHS will be responsible for maintaining and updating PRISM training content that the vendor created.
The Training Specialist along with the Training Manager will be responsible for updating existing PRISM training content creating new PRISM training material and creating new training material for other division projects.
