Job Description:

JSL is seeking a candidate for a challenging technical electronics assignment. This position needs a motivated missile test cell technician supporting Naval Surface Warfare Center Port Hueneme (NSWC PHD) at Naval Weapons Station Seal Beach CA. Primary responsibility is MK-698 test set diagnostics and testing. Formal MK-698 Test Set training provided after a short period of on-the-job training. Provides engineering technical assistance for MK-698 Test Set operations.

Minimum Qualifications:

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need of employer sponsorship now or at any time in the future

Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance level Secret

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Follows established SOPs and work instructions and strives towards continuous improvement

High School Diploma or equivalent

Electronic circuit and assembly troubleshooting experience

3 or more years related experience

Preferred Qualifications:

Missile Test Set experience

MK-698 Test Set Experience

Standard Missile (SM) and Evolved Sea Sparrow Missile (ESSM) experience

Security Clearance:

Applicants must have an active security clearance and/or the ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Security Clearance. Selected candidates will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements to obtain a DoD Government- granted security clearance. Individuals will be subject to a background investigation to include but not limited to criminal history employment and education verification drug testing and creditworthiness.
