OPS Academic Support Specialist (Faculty Affairs & Operations)
Classification Minimum Requirements:
Bachelors degree and three years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Job Description:
This temporary position provides support across faculty affairs and academic operations within the College of Nursing. The role helps maintain continuity during a transition period by assisting with faculty workflows instructional coordination evaluation processes and academic data management.
This position works closely with academic leadership faculty and staff to support efficient and accurate daytoday operations.
Faculty Affairs & Instructional Support
Support faculty scheduling and teaching assignments across didactic simulation and clinical courses
Assist with workload tracking including TAMS workload data and teaching assignment records
Provide support for annual faculty evaluation and FEA processes including timelines tracking and documentation
Coordinate course evaluations including GatorEvals setup distribution monitoring response rates and tracking completion
Assist with data clean up related to faculty records teaching assignments and evaluation data
Maintain records related to faculty assignments instructional activity and academic participation
Assist with faculty submissions awards and related documentation as needed
Academic Operations & Data Support
Maintain and update academic and faculty data across systems
Provide assistance with data clean up to improve accuracy consistency and reporting readiness
Support setup distribution and tracking of evaluation and survey processes as needed
Run and support routine reports related to enrollment faculty activity and program operations
Assist with data tracking for accreditation reporting and leadership needs
Support coordination across systems to ensure data accuracy and consistency
Additional Support
Assist with scheduling calendars and general academic operations as needed
Provide administrative and coordination support across teams during peak periods
Other duties as assigned
Expected Salary:
$20-$25 per hour
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree and three years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred:
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple timelines and priorities
Clear and professional communication with faculty and staff
Experience with academic operations faculty support or data tracking is helpful
