Operator

The Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of various types of heavy equipment used in material handling construction support yard operations and processing activities. Equipment operation may vary based on operational needs and may include forklifts loaders excavators backhoes bulldozers cranes and other heavy machinery.

This role supports production construction and yard functions by ensuring safe equipment operation material movement routine maintenance and adherence to company safety and quality standards. The Operator is also expected to assist with general labor duties as needed to maintain workflow and support operational efficiency.

Heavy Equipment Operation

• Operate a variety of heavy equipment including forklifts skid steers front-end loaders bulldozers and other machinery as required.
• Safely move load unload and transport materials equipment and supplies across the facility or job site.
• Operate machinery to support operations

Material Handling & Site Operations

• Transport tools materials and equipment to and from designated locations or job sites.
• Organize and store materials in designated areas to maintain a clean and efficient workspace.
• Assist with loading and unloading trucks trailers and containers.
• Support production warehouse and yard operations to ensure continuous workflow.

Inspection Maintenance & Safety

• Perform pre-operation and post-operation inspections of all equipment.
• Inspect clean and fuel equipment prior to and after use.
• Identify and report mechanical electrical or safety issues; perform minor maintenance and repairs as appropriate.
• Maintain equipment in safe working condition and ensure compliance with all safety policies.
• Follow all federal state company and customer QHSE requirements.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment through proper housekeeping and hazard reporting.

Coordination & Team Support

• Follow instructions from supervisors regarding job assignments priorities and schedules.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management to support operational efficiency.
• Assist with general labor duties and support various departments as needed.
• Adapt to changing operational needs and equipment assignments.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
