Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the Citys grant program including identifying evaluating and pursuing grant funding opportunities.
  • Establish and administer grant management processes and provide oversight and guidance to City departments throughout the grant lifecycle.
  • Coordinate the implementation monitoring and compliance of grant-funded programs to ensure adherence to applicable federal state and local regulations.
  • Develop and maintain a working knowledge of state and federal grant programs funding requirements and reporting obligations.
  • Serve as the primary resource for City departments by responding to grant-related inquiries and providing technical assistance regarding grant opportunities eligibility and compliance.
  • Maintain grant records monitor deadlines and assist departments with required documentation and reporting.





Required Qualifications:
Knowledge skill and mental development equivalent to completion of four years of college and three years of grant administration experience including one year of supervisory or administrative experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Preferred candidates will have knowledge of grant administration and compliance requirements excellent communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships.

Preference for employment in all positions with the city shall be given to applicants who are full-time city residents.

To be eligible to apply current City employees must have completed their probationary period and attained certified status in their current position.
