Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Architect to lead the design development and implementation of enterprise ServiceNow solutions. The ideal candidate will collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions leveraging the ServiceNow platform. This role requires deep expertise in ServiceNow architecture integrations governance and enterprise solution design.
Key Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end ServiceNow solutions aligned with organizational goals and business requirements.
- Develop technical architecture data models workflows and integrations to support enterprise business processes.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams ensuring adherence to best practices standards and methodologies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather analyze and translate business requirements into technical specifications and solution designs.
- Configure and develop ServiceNow applications using JavaScript GlideScript HTML and CSS.
- Design and implement integrations between ServiceNow and enterprise systems using REST APIs SOAP MID Servers and related technologies.
- Optimize platform performance scalability and reliability through monitoring and performance tuning.
- Ensure compliance with governance security and regulatory standards by implementing appropriate controls and audit mechanisms.
- Develop technical documentation including architecture diagrams design documents and configuration guides.
- Provide knowledge transfer mentorship and training to technical teams and end users.
- Advise leadership on technology strategies infrastructure planning and enterprise architecture initiatives.
- Support system roadmap development and evaluate the feasibility of future technology projects.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science or related field or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of 9 years of experience in IT systems roadmap development.
- Minimum of 9 years of experience serving as an Enterprise Architect.
- Minimum of 9 years of experience with system diagramming and modeling using structured modeling languages such as UML.
- Minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow modules including ITSM ITOM ITFM HRSD PPM and SPM.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with ServiceNow integrations using REST SOAP and other integration protocols.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience architecting and implementing complex ServiceNow solutions in enterprise environments.
- Strong knowledge of ServiceNow platform architecture core modules and platform components.
- Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles governance security and compliance standards.
- Excellent analytical problem-solving communication and collaboration skills.
Highly Desired Qualifications
- ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA).
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certification.
- Experience working in large-scale enterprise or government environments.
Required Skills:
Requirements Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science or a related field or equivalent professional experience. Minimum of 10 years of overall IT industry experience. At least 6 years of experience troubleshooting and resolving production issues related to software applications. Minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience with Composer Drush Git and modern development workflows. Strong understanding of web accessibility standards (WCAG) security best practices and website performance optimization techniques. Minimum of 6 years of experience working with cloud hosting platforms such as Acquia Pantheon AWS or Azure. Strong proficiency in PHP Twig HTML5 CSS3 JavaScript and responsive web design principles. Experience with MySQL/MariaDB database management and optimization. Demonstrated strong analytical troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams. Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work. Minimum of 3 years of Drupal development experience including Drupal 9 10 and/or 11. Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments is highly desired. Acquia Drupal Developer or Site Builder certification is highly desired. Experience with Docker or other containerized development environments is required.
