Provides direct supervision of pharmacy personnel and oversees day-to-day pharmacy operations to ensure safe effective efficient and compliant patient care services. Collaborates with pharmacy leadership to support clinical and operational objectives promote evidence-based practice maintain regulatory and accreditation compliance and foster a culture of quality safety teamwork and continuous improvement.

This is a Full Time (40 Hours) role that will provide support to our Community Site Locations.

Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership direction and workflow oversight to pharmacists pharmacy technicians and support personnel to ensure safe effective and efficient pharmacy services.
  • Hire train coach support develop discipline and evaluate pharmacy personnel to promote engagement accountability high performance and professional growth.
  • Assist in the development implementation and maintenance of departmental policies procedures and standard operating procedures to support safe and compliant pharmacy practice.
  • Monitor and maintain compliance with all applicable federal state organizational regulatory and accreditation requirements ensuring ongoing operational readiness.
  • Lead and support quality assurance quality improvement medication safety and error prevention initiatives including review and follow-up of safety events and implementation of corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with pharmacy leadership multidisciplinary teams and organizational committees to support departmental objectives strategic initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Communicate departmental goals operational priorities performance expectations and key updates to staff while fostering a culture of safety teamwork and service excellence.
Qualifications

Required:

  • Doctor of pharmacy (PharmD) degree or equivalent from an accredited School of Pharmacy
  • 4 years of experience as a Pharmacist or 2 years as a Lead Pharmacist or in an equivalent supervisory capacity
  • State of Washington Pharmacist License
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven project management skills and committee experience
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills (EMR Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook etc.)
  • Ability to work under pressure related to work/time deadlines
  • Ability to provide feedback about staff performance to staff
  • Strong teaching ability
  • Ability to lead committees

The annual base salary range for this position is from $172910.00 to $288142.00 and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications.
