Hourly Rate: $21.30 per hour
Location: Seattle/onsite
Cascade PBS offers competitive benefits to team members working 20 hours or more a week. This position is not eligible for full benefits but will receive sick time.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES
Provide excellent customer service by being professional courteous friendly and prompt
Open and secure Cascade PBS lobby area and keeps the area orderly and free of clutter
Greet and direct station guests and visitors
Handle and route internal and external calls and paging on a multi-line phone system
Refer questions and requests for information to the appropriate departments (e.g. Programming Customer Service Engineering Accounting)
Accept and monitor incoming and outgoing courier deliveries including UPS and FedEx
Distribute and collect ID Badges for vendors and guests as well as tracking temporary use badges
Initiate and enforce compliance with COVID-19 protocols required to enter the building
Maintain confidentiality as appropriate
Open sort mark as received and distribute daily incoming mail to internal mailboxes
Process and prepare outgoing mail
Inform recipients of incoming packages and maintain staff mailboxes
Communicate any general office equipment service needs to IT
Inventory and order Lunchroom and general office supplies
Empty dishwasher each morning restock kitchen after mail duties
Perform duties on admin task list
Staff reception desk during special events as assigned
Collaborate with other team members to foster a positive and productive culture and contribute toward the overall growth of Cascade PBS.
Other duties responsibilities and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES
Excellent interpersonal communication skills appropriately tailored to different recipients required
Proficient in MS Outlook commitment to on-going technical skill development as relates to position
Ability to handle multiple tasks with a positive and professional manner
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High School diploma or equivalent required
One-year receptionist and/or customer service experience required
One-year experience with multi-line telephone system strongly preferred
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Moderate to heavy physical tasks up to lifting 55 pounds unassisted required
Lifting stretching climbing steps bending and moving office equipment required
Ability to work some evenings weekends holidays and on-call shifts as needed
Ability to sit stand and type for long periods of time
