We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our rehabilitation team. Position Summary
The Occupational Therapist will evaluate patients develop individualized treatment programs and provide therapeutic interventions designed to improve daily living skills mobility cognition and overall function. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working in a supportive clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and assessments
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient goals and clinical needs
Deliver therapeutic interventions to improve functional performance and independence
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment strategies as appropriate
Educate patients families and caregivers on treatment plans and home programs
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Collaborate with physicians nursing staff rehabilitation professionals and other healthcare providers
Support discharge planning and continuity of care efforts
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and professional development activities
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and professional practice standards
Qualifications
Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
Current California Occupational Therapist license or eligibility to obtain licensure
Current CPR certification or ability to obtain certification upon hire
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative healthcare environment
Preferred
Experience in skilled nursing rehabilitation long-term care or post-acute care settings
Knowledge of evidence-based rehabilitation practices
Experience working with adult and geriatric populations
