Job Type: Full-time Variable 12-hour shifts and 2 Weekends per month with Holiday rotation

Up to $5000 bonus for eligible candidates

Our Surgical Ortho Unit (9 Ashman & 9 Rose) provides care to a diverse patient population including orthopedic trauma general surgery urology and medical-surgical patients. This variety offers nurses the opportunity to build broad clinical skills in a dynamic fast-paced environment.

Scheduling & Work Environment:

• 12-hour shifts (7A7P and 7P7A)
• Every other weekend rotation
• Schedules are published in 4-week intervals
• Flexible self-scheduling allowing staff greater input and work-life balance

Our unit fosters a collaborative team-oriented environment where nurses are supported in delivering high-quality patient-centered care while maintaining flexibility in their schedules.

How youll contribute

ANurse Technicianwho excels in this role:

• Participates in Patient Care Teams delivery of personalized efficient care with respect for patients spiritual and cultural differences.
• Consider factors related to safety effectiveness and cost in delivery of patient care.
• Orients patient and family to room and call bell.
• Upon admission obtain initial vital signs height and weight.
• Records daily I & O vital signs and food intake into the electronic medical record.
• Transports patients via appropriate means in a safe dignified manner. Adheres to patient activity restrictions.
• Establishes positive relationships with patients/families and reports patient/family concerns accurately and concisely to appropriate care team members.

What were looking for
Applicants should possessHigh School Diploma or GED. Additional requirements include:

• Completion of Nurse Aide Program or experience in related field or will provide on the job education and training

• Basic Life Support or acquire within 3 months of hire

• One year of acute care or one-year long-term care experience preferred

• Certification preferred
