Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join an established outpatient Rheumatology practice. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with an experienced Rheumatologist while providing comprehensive care to adult patients with rheumatologic conditions.
We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join an established outpatient Rheumatology practice. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with an experienced Rheumatologist while providing comprehensive care to adult patients with rheumatologic conditions.
Position Overview:
- Evaluate and manage adult rheumatology patients independently and under physician supervision.
- Provide patient-centered care consistent with experience training and clinical judgment.
- Collaborate with physicians advanced practice providers and support staff to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
- Participate in the diagnosis treatment and ongoing management of rheumatologic disorders.
Qualifications:
- Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
- Experience in Rheumatology is preferred; however motivated new graduates with relevant clinical experience and a strong interest in Rheumatology are encouraged to apply.
- Ability to work confidently independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Excellent communication interpersonal and patient care skills.
- Valid DEA registration and applicable state-controlled substance registration (if required).
Schedule:
- Outpatient setting.
- Monday Friday schedule.
- No nights weekends or hospital call responsibilities.
- Full-time preferred; 32-hour (4-day) schedule may be considered.
