Nurse Practitioner —Cardiovascular —PRN Days

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

BSN Bachelors Degree Graduate of an accredited nursing program Required.
MSN Masters Degree Graduate of a Nurse Practitioner program Required
RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire Required
APRN - Advanced Practice Nurse Upon Hire Required
NP - Nurse Practitioner Upon Hire Required
2 (Two) Years experience as a Nurse Practitioner
One (1) Years cardiac thoracic or vascular surgery patient experience strongly preferred
BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support Uponprior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support Within 30 days of hire preferred

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO DO:

Utilizes principles and skills in communication and interviewing techniques in obtaining a comprehensive health history to formulate a plan of care and make decisions for appropriate therapeutic interventions.
Uses principles and skills in advanced health assessment for differentiating normal and abnormal findings.
Synthesizes knowledge of physiology pathophysiology culture and socioeconomics to access evaluate and provide therapeutic interventions to patients.
Collaborates with the multidisciplinary team to improve care processes in order to promote continuity of care
Initiates actions to meet patients/families

WORK SCHEDULE: PRN Days; Ideally looking for a consistent schedule of the same day(s) weekly for outpatient hospital-based clinic support.
