Nuclear Project Manager II
Job Summary
Position dictates applying extensive and diversified knowledge of engineeringprinciplesandpracticestothemanagementofassignedprojectswhilemaking workingrelationshipswithclienttoincludeprofessionalandsocialinteractionwithkeyhome company.
Positionincludesidentifyingclientneedsandexpectationsincludingupcomingmajorprojects issuesthatmaydeveloprelativetoprojectscopechangesqualityofservicescostor schedule.
SuccessfulcandidatewillcoordinateandparticipateinthepreparationofproposalsforclientworkbyworkingwithDisciplineEngineeringManagersandAccountManagerstodevelop projectscopeapproachtechnicalassumptionsstaffingscheduleandpricing.
Responsibilities
Keyactivitiesaremonitoringthestatusofallon-goingprojectstoincludebudgetschedulescopechangesreviewofdeliverablesrelativetoscopeandclientexpectationsparticipationin candidatewillensurethatcontractualrequirementsaremetaddressesandresolves willberesponsibletoreviewapproveandcorrect(asneeded)invoicesapplicabletoproject work.
Additionallyresponsibleforunderstandingandcommunicatingtocompanystaffclients shallhavepracticalknowledgeofroutineprecedentdesignworkingknowledgeof engineering principles for applicable solvingproblems.
Candidateshallhavetheabilitytocoordinateprojectsfromearliestphasestobudgetsdesign scopebudget andschedule.
Qualifications
EducationRequired(minimum):BSinengineeringorothertechnicalspecialtyfromanaccredited university with course work in mechanical electrical chemical or similar technical scope is required.
Experience Required (minimum):10 years (minimum) of experience with design managemotivateandorganizeteammemberscommunicatingandprovidingtechnical direction and task assignments is required.
OtherRequiredQualifications(minimum):All applicants must possessexcellent verbal ;WordExcelandPowerPointisrequiredwithcompetencyinsoftwareapplications complywithcompanypoliciesproceduresprocessesaswellasthosefinancialobligations includeclimbingladdersaccessingsecurity-controlledareasandenteringconfinedspacesand controlledhazardous areas is required.
Preferred Education:MS in engineering or other technical specialty from an accredited universitywithcourseworkinmechanicalelectricalchemicalorsimilartechnicalscopeis desired.
Certification(s)orLicense(s)Preferred(minimum):ProfessionalEngineeringregistration(EIT or PE) and Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification are highly preferred.
