Substitute Teacher Responsibilities

• Follow lesson plans and guide students through daily instruction
• Maintain a positive respectful classroom environment
• Manage student behavior and keep students engaged
• Supervise students during transitions lunch and recess as needed
• Communicate with school administrators and staff

For long-term assignments additional responsibilities may include lesson planning and enhanced classroom support.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 60 college credit hours OR an Associates Degree
• At least one year of childcare tutoring mentoring coaching or related experience preferred
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• Reliable adaptable and professional
• Passion for supporting student learning in a K12 environment
