Required Qualifications
Hold a current license or privilege to practice as a registered nurse in the State of Texas Hold a bachelors degree in nursing from an accredited baccalaureate program in nursing Have the clinical expertise to function effectively and safely in the designated area of teaching. (Recent graduates must have worked at least one year as a full-time RN or equivalent under direct supervision of an RN.)
Preferred Qualifications
Two years of work experience as a registered nurse in the area designated to teach; Holding a Master of Science degree in nursing ( MSN ); Certification in an area of practice specialty expertise in a focused area of nursing practice (such as OB pediatrics adult acute care emergency department etc.).
