NM Occupational Therapist Contract
Location: Grants New Mexico
Pay Rate: $55.00/hr $58.00/hr
Contract: 12 Weeks
Schedule: Day Shift 8-hour shifts
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
Experience: Minimum 1 year required; 2 years acute care preferred
EMR: Cerner
About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapist for a contract opportunity in Grants NM. This role includes both inpatient and outpatient care supporting patients in improving daily living skills mobility independence and overall quality of life.
Responsibilities

Evaluate patients physical emotional and cognitive abilities

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
-
Support ADL mobility and functional skills training
-
Recommend and train patients on adaptive equipment
-
Educate patients families and caregivers
-
Maintain accurate documentation in Cerner
-
Collaborate with physicians nurses and therapy teams
Requirements
-
Active New Mexico Occupational Therapy License required
-
Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an ACOTE-accredited program
-
NBCOT/OTR certification required
-
BLS/CPR certification required
-
Completion of Level I and Level II supervised fieldwork

Experience with ADLs mobility training lifts splints and adaptive devices preferred

Strong communication documentation and patient care skills
