Purpose/Objective of the Role:
The Neuroscience Program is seeking a reliable friendly and organized student to manage the GAMELab. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain professional experience in conducting human neuroscience research and managing resources and personnel in a laboratory setting. As the lab manager for GAMELab you will be the first point of contact for participants and lab personnel ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruit human participants for various GAMELab projects.
- Coordinate scheduling of lab personnel and data collection.
- Collect behavioral and physiological data from human participants.
- Monitor and order lab supplies.
- Maintain lab equipment.
Qualifications:
- Must be a current student preferably with interest in Neuroscience or communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint) G-Suite (Gmail Drive Docs calendar) and comfortable learning new software.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Dependable punctual and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Previous research experience is a plus but not required.
Work Schedule:
- Flexible hours between 8:30 AM and 4:30 PM Monday through Friday accommodating class schedules.
