Position: FTE: Network Engineer (with Programming) Data & AI Systems
Type: Contract
Compensation: $50$70/hour
Location: San Francisco CA (primarily in-person)
Commitment: Full-time
Role Responsibilities
- Review real-world data from deployed networks including logs configurations telemetry and event streams.
- Label classify and analyze network behaviors issues and anomalies to enhance AI system understanding.
- Write scripts and tools to process clean and transform network data using Python and Bash.
- Define schemas and structure for large-scale data pipelines to support machine learning operations.
- Collaborate closely with the client team to improve data quality and usability for ML systems.
Qualifications
Must-Have
- Experience as a network engineer with enterprise networks (switches APs firewalls etc.).
- Programming or scripting experience (e.g. Python Bash).
- Comfort with interpreting logs events and time-series metrics.
Preferred
- Experience automating workflows or working with data pipelines.
- Curiosity about how raw infrastructure data becomes machine learning input.
