Salary Range: $200000-$230000 depending on experience.
What You Will Do:

The Network Engineer network services from network design through implementation maintenance and upgrading of existing networks. Analyzes design specifications and related documents. Performs general LAN/CAN/WAN administration. Schedules conversions and cutovers. Coordinates with all responsible users and sites to resolve network or system incidents. Translates business requirements into telecommunications (e.g. LAN CAN WAN Voice and Video) requirements designs and orders. Performs engineering analysis of telecommunications alternatives in support of strategic modernization efforts and telecommunications enhancement design for medium and large-scale telecommunication infrastructures. Assists telecommunications end users telecommunications operations personnel and telecommunications strategic program management with network interfaces.

At first their primary focus will be to build network diagrams (ToR-down). They will document the current state of: devices connectivity policies. They will identify issues or gaps in network configurations/policies. Once they settle in they will support SDN architecture work. They will provide VMWAre NSX engineering support. Assist with storage and backup engineering and develop early hybrid-cloud architecture options

Our Requirements for this Role:

• Strong network diagramming and documentation skills
• An understanding of network policy (e.g ACLs segmentation routing)
• Data-center experience with VMWare NSX
• Familiarity with storage/backup tools and concept
• Basic hybrid cloud architecture experience
• Ten (10) years of professional experience providing Network Engineering support
• An IAT Level 2 Certification by the start date
• A Masters degree in a related discipline from an is required. A Bachelors degree in a related discipline and an additional two (2) years of experience providing Network Engineering support may be substituted for the Masters degree.
