Job Summary
Title: Network Engineer
Client: NYC Agency
Location: Brooklyn NY (Hybrid)
Duration: 12 Months
Work Hours: 35 hrs/week
Key Responsibilities:
- Design implement and maintain enterprise LAN/WAN DMZ and Wireless network infrastructure.
- Configure and support Cisco switches routers firewalls VPNs and network security solutions.
- Lead wireless network design and optimization including Aruba architecture and network access control.
- Provide Level 3 support for complex network and infrastructure issues.
- Maintain network documentation and ensure security and performance best practices.
Mandatory Skills/Experience:
- 10 years of Network Engineering experience in enterprise or government environments.
- Strong expertise in Cisco networking (Switches Routers Routing & Switching).
- Hands-on experience with Aruba Wireless Firewalls VPNs and Network Security.
- Experience with Active Directory Group Policy Windows Server and Windows 11.
- PowerShell scripting and automation experience.
- Certification: CCNA CCNP CCIE (minimum one required).
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field.
