Provides Network support that requires system level design architecture or enterprise security and security boundaries datacenter virtualization CAN/MAN/LAN infrastructure packet capture software TCP/IP protocol stack routing/switching protocols stateful firewalls and L3/L4 access controls.
The Level 3 Network Engineer must possess the following skills and experience:
Salary:$200000 - $210000(Annually)
Annual Compensation Figures listed for this position serve as a general guideline and are not a guarantee of compensation. Compensation will vary dependent upon factors including but not limited to: Government contract rates; education; relevant prior work experience knowledge skills and competencies; certifications and geographic location.

The Level 3 Network Engineer must possess the following skills and experience:
- Cisco IOS CatOS NxOS filter and access control Ciscoworks TACACS ASA FWSM HP Openview Cisco routers Cisco Switches F5/Cisco load balancers Infiniband Juniper FiberChannel (FC) SAN and VPN (IPSEC)
- Physical installation and configuration and troubleshooting of network routers switches load balancers and security devices
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP protocol stack and routing and switching protocols
- Strong working knowledge of L2/L3 protocols
- Strong working knowledge of stateful firewalls and L3 access controls
- Working knowledge of Atlassian Tool Suite
- Able to support on-call requirements
- Able to work in live call environment and utilize remedy and/or other ticketing system to track tasking
- Virtualization products; VMWare and Solaris containers
- Eight years demonstrable experience (with degree or 10 without) in network engineering (LAN) architecture monitoring security and protection.
- Must have datacenter network design and architecture experience to include installation and configuration of Cisco routers switches firewalls and IPSEC virtual private networks.
