SunSoftOnline is hiring a .NET Full-Stack Developer for the Arizona Department of Educations IT Division. You would be building and maintaining statewide online application systems supporting over one million K-12 students plus hundreds of thousands of parents teachers and school staff.
The work: development enhancement troubleshooting and maintenance of web applications and backend processes on a Microsoft stack. Reviewing business requirements and design specifications designing and unit testing new features building new applications debugging and fixing defects providing development estimates participating in Scrum ceremonies and code reviews and coordinating with Network Services and Operations teams on environments and deployments.
Required:
- 5 years of professional software application development
- Full-stack development with C# .NET Core 3.1 Web API MVC Razor Pages HTML CSS JavaScript jQuery Bootstrap
- Advanced object-oriented programming and SOLID design principles
- Microsoft Azure: Application Services Azure Functions Storage Accounts
- SQL Server development stored procedures and functions relational database modeling
- Power BI development including semantic models reports dashboards and visualizations embedded in secured web applications
- Azure DevOps or Team Foundation Services or equivalent source control
- Bachelors in Computer Science Software Engineering or related field or equivalent professional experience
Preferred: .NET 6 and Blazor Framework Telerik / Kendo UI SSIS and SSRS additional Azure services (Service Bus API Management Key Vault) Agile/Scrum team experience education or government sector experience.
The facts: $60-67/hr W2 depending on experience HYBRID: in office the first week then twice a month at 100 N. 15th Ave Phoenix 85007 Monday-Friday 8-5 September 28 2026 through June 11 2027 must reside in Arizona and be Phoenix-local at submission in-person interview within a week of the close start within two weeks of offer HireRight background check and drug screening current city required on resume W2 only no C2C no sponsorship.
