Standard Job Description
The Palmdale Transportation and Chemical Management Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all crane operators forklift operators chemicalreplenishment attendants and commercial highway truck drivers to ensure safe efficient and timely movement of aircraft parts tooling and materials throughout the manufacturing support chain. This role plans coordinates and monitors daily logistics operations enforces compliance with safety and environmental regulations manages resource allocation and resolves operational issues that could impact production flow. The supervisor also conducts performance evaluations provides training on equipment and chemical handling procedures and collaborates with engineering production and supplychain teams to continuously improve transportation processes and support overall mission readiness. Addionally you may attend status meetings advising management of the status of work in progress and material availability. You must have the ability to resolve issues that may arise in the manufacturing process by interfacing with all supporting organization and be flexible open minded and capable of managing multiple tasks. This role also provides you with the ability to collaborate with Labor Relations and Human Resources to enhance employee engagement.
