Job Summary
Essex North Shore is seeking anMTSS Interventionist. The MTSS Interventionist is a specialized support position responsible for delivering coordinating and monitoring evidence-based interventions within Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) frameworks. This position provides direct intervention services to students coaches school teams in intervention implementation and supports data-based decision-making processes. The interventionist works collaboratively with teachers counselors school nurses administrators and support staff to ensure students receive timely targeted academic behavioral and social-emotional interventions within inclusive learning environments.
CORI SAFIS and SORI required.
Bilingual preferred.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Education Special Education School Psychology Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
- DESE licensure.
- Demonstrated knowledge of evidence-based academic and/or behavioral intervention practices.
- Proficiency in administering and interpreting assessment data including progress monitoring assessments.
- Strong understanding of MTSS frameworks RTI processes and tiered intervention models.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse educators families and community members.
- Ability to manage multiple students and priorities while maintaining detailed records.
