Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented MRI Technologist to join a high-performing diagnostic imaging team in Las Cruces NM. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality MRI scans ensuring patient safety and delivering accurate imaging to support clinical diagnosis and treatment planning.
Key Responsibilities
Perform Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) procedures in accordance with physician orders and imaging protocols
Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout all scanning procedures
Prepare and position patients accurately for optimal image quality
Operate MRI equipment and adjust scan parameters as needed
Maintain imaging records and ensure compliance with clinical standards
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare staff to ensure diagnostic accuracy
Follow all infection control safety and hospital policies
Requirements
Registered MRI Technologist (ARRT MRI) or ARMRIT certification required
Ability to obtain New Mexico state MRI licensure (or currently licensed)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required upon hire
Strong understanding of MRI safety protocols and imaging procedures
Excellent patient care and communication skills
Preferred Skills
Experience in hospital or outpatient imaging settings
Familiarity with advanced MRI systems and imaging software
Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment
