We are seeking a Motion Control Engineer for our client in Seattle WA working in the Space Sector. You will collaborate with software mechanical solar and propulsion engineers to develop solutions that meet rigorous performance standards for space applications.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement motion control strategies for precision aerospace mechanisms and subsystems.

• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to integrate mechatronic solutions into broader system architectures.

• Support the testing validation and documentation of control systems throughout the hardware development lifecycle.

Basic Qualifications:

• BS in Electrical Mechanical Aerospace Engineering or a related discipline.

• 3 years of experience in motion control mechatronics or dynamic systems.

• Familiarity with control system modeling and simulation tools

• Hands-on experience troubleshooting and integrating hardware in a lab environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• MS in Control Systems Robotics or a related field.

• Previous experience with aerospace applications pointing mechanisms or optical platforms.

• Understanding of environmental testing and qualification standards for space hardware.
