Mill Manager

The Mill Manager directs and coordinates activities of the Mill (Pellets Bemis Flake & Mesh) of Industrial Food grade and Pharmaceutical grade salt by performing the tasks listed below either personally or through hourly bargaining unit employees.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensures environmental health and safety (EHS) and General Management Practices (GMP) performance and compliance
• Accountable for the Mill Operations
• Establishes and ensures achievement of all unit key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Manages area budget/cost volume and quality.
• Manages department project capital budget.
• Manages equipment and process reliability.
• Performs other related duties as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in engineering or other related technical degree is strongly preferred or ten (10) plus years of relevant experience.
• Minimum of ten (10) years manufacturing experience.
• Minimum of five (5) years supervisor experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate across all levels of the organization
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Proficient in SAP-preferred
