Job Summary
Grimmer Middle School is seeking a dedicated and passionate educator to join our team as a full-time Temporary Middle School Teacher. The ideal candidate will inspire and engage students in a dynamic learning environment fostering their academic growth and personal development. This position requires a commitment to creating an inclusive classroom atmosphere that promotes respect collaboration and a love for learning.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelors Degree in Education
• Licensure: Valid Indiana Teaching License/Elementary Endorsement

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and cater to diverse learning styles.
- Assess and evaluate student progress through various methods including tests projects and classroom participation.
- Create a positive and supportive classroom environment that encourages student participation and fosters a sense of community.
- Collaborate with fellow educators staff and parents to support student learning and address individual needs.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with educational best practices.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance grades and performance and communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively implementing school policies and procedures to ensure a safe and respectful learning environment.
- Foster critical thinking creativity and problem-solving skills in students through innovative teaching strategies and activities.
- Participate in school events meetings and committees as required to contribute to the overall success of the school community.

- Strong knowledge of middle school curriculum and instructional strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with students parents and colleagues.
- Demonstrated ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Proficient in using technology and educational software to enhance teaching and learning.
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and equitable classroom environment.
- Previous teaching experience at the middle school level is preferred but not required.
