Job Summary:
Operates a range of manufacturing support equipment by independently executing material handling tool operation and inspection activities. Supports production efficiency by ensuring materials tools and devices are available functional and safely operated. Enhances workflow continuity by identifying equipment issues and applying standard corrective actions. Maintains compliance with safety quality and operational requirements across equipment operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Operates equipment such as forklifts pallet jacks portable welders and inspection devices in accordance with procedures.
Transports raw materials components and finished goods to designated locations to support production flow.
Performs routine equipment inspections and reports maintenance needs or safety concerns.
Identifies damaged materials or quality deficiencies and escalates findings appropriately.
Maintains accurate inventory movement or activity records as required.
Coordinates with production teams to support scheduling and workflow needs.
Maintains a clean safe and organized equipment operating environment.
Education Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience required.
Work Experience:
2 4 years of experience operating manufacturing equipment forklifts or material handling systems required.
Certifications and Licenses:
Forklift certification preferred.
