Pay Rate: $50 per hour travel stipends if applicable
Schedule: 40 hours per week. Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

Contract Length: 1 year

• Federal contract in bidding process open for locals and travelers

Benefits: $5.09 per hour for Health and Welfare 10 days PTO Accrued sick days and 11 Paid Holidays.

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Medical Laboratory Tech to join a healthcare team in Toppenish WA. This opportunity is open to local and travel candidates seeking a stable full-time contract in a collaborative clinical environment. The ideal candidate will perform laboratory testing and support diagnostic services while ensuring accuracy efficiency and excellent patient care.

Requirements:

• Current and valid Medical Laboratory Technician/Technologist/CLS certification from a nationally recognized credentialing agency or state licensing body

• Current CPR OR BLS certification

• Minimum of one (1) year of experience as a Medical Laboratory Scientist or Laboratory Technician

• Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures specimen handling and quality control standards

• Ability to meet IHS credentialing and background requirements

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and complex laboratory testing with accuracy and attention to detail

• Collect process and analyze laboratory specimens following established protocols

• Operate maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment

• Ensure accurate documentation of test results and patient information

• Follow quality control infection control and laboratory safety procedures

• Communicate effectively with providers and healthcare staff regarding laboratory findings

• Assist in maintaining laboratory inventory supplies and equipment readiness

• Deliver reliable and timely diagnostic support to assist in patient care and treatment decisions
