Shift: Evenings

Hours Per Week: 40 hrs./week

Hiring Range: $35.10- $43.90

Starting Rate: $40.61 this rate includes differentials.

Below are the shift differentials based on eligible shifts worked:

• Weekday eveningshift- additional 10% plus $2.00 per hour
• Weekday nightshift- an additional 15% plus $3.00 per hour
• Weekend dayshift an additional 10%
• Weekend evening & nightshifts an additional 21%

The actual compensation for this position will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.

Responsibilities:
Oversees the direction and operation of the clinical laboratory. Problem solves and provides technicalassistance to staff.

Assigns and schedules work for assigned shifts. Prepares daily and weekly time and attendancereports. Conducts department meetings.

Performs various clinical laboratory tests analyzes and interprets test results and ensures accuracy.

Assists with data collection or special projects for difficult cases.

Demonstrates in depth knowledge of the policies and procedures for patient preparation sample requirements specimen collection and pre-analytical factors that affect sample quality.

Oversees the documentation and submission of all required laboratory departmental andstaffstatistics/reports.

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

Education- Required Credential(s):

• Bachelors Degree
• Clinical Laboratory Technologist credentialed from the New York Board of Clinical Laboratory Technology obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Limited permit also accepted.
