Job Summary
Seeking an experienced veterinarian to lead a small animal practice as Medical Director. This role combines clinical excellence with leadership mentorship and oversight of medical standards while delivering high-quality patient care.

- Lead the veterinary team and maintain high clinical standards.
- Mentor veterinarians and support staff.
- Guide medical decision-making and improve clinical workflows.
- Support daily hospital operations and foster a positive team culture.
- Provide preventive care diagnostics and chronic disease management.
- Perform general soft tissue surgeries including spay/neuter mass removals and foreign body surgeries.
- Deliver dental procedures including extractions with radiographic support.
- Promote compassionate patient-centered veterinary care.
- DVM or VMD degree from an accredited veterinary school.
- Eligible for veterinary licensure in Maryland.
- Minimum 3 years of small animal practice experience.
- Strong skills in general soft tissue surgery and dentistry.
- Previous leadership or mentoring experience preferred.
- Excellent communication collaboration and coaching skills.
