Job Summary
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Performs tasks pertinent to age of patient (infancy to geriatric)
Maintainsaccurateinventory of medical supplies;assistsin theselectionof division equipment and supplies.
Performs all nursing procedures (with the exception ofcertain injections IVs and IV medications triage) as directed by the clinician according to the guidelines in the Nursing Procedure Manual.
May be assigned lab duties
Assistsin quality assurance and control.
Participates in the continuing educational process.
Assistsin the efficient flow of patients.
Attends work as scheduled.
Performs related duties as assigned.

Qualifications
EDUCATION TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
Successful completion of a Medical Assistant or Allied Health Training program or experiencecommensuratewith medical assistant training.
One years experience in a health facility preferred.
Current CPR certification preferred
