Full time: Monday - Friday

Medical Assistants do not work weekends holidays or evening hours.

At Black Stone Health youll be part of a dedicated team led by a physiatrist-a physician specializing in physical medicine and rehabilitation-who provides comprehensive outpatient care for patients with diverse rehabilitation needs. Our team focuses on helping patients improve their quality of life through the evaluation treatment and management of sports spine and other musculoskeletal conditions.

As a Medical Assistant you will play a key role in delivering exceptional patient care and supporting providers in a fast-paced specialty clinic.

• Assist Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers in the clinical setting

• Room patients and obtain vital signs

• Document patient visits and provide scribing support

• Perform data entry and maintain accurate medical records

• Obtain prior authorizations for medications and procedures

• Verify patient insurance coverage

• Triage patient calls and address patient concerns

• Assist with interventional procedures

• Coordinate patient care and follow-up as directed

• Maintain exam rooms supplies and clinical equipment
