Medicaid Pender
Position Summary:
We are seeking a responsible organized and proactive individual to manage Medicaid accounts for assigned nursing home facilities. This role requires strong communication and relationship-building skills as you will serve as the primary point of contact for your facilities ensuring accounts are properly managed and payments are collected by month-end.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee Medicaid accounts for 12 assigned nursing home facilities.
- Serve as the main point of contact for facility administrators and staff.
- Maintain regular communication with facilities regarding account status outstanding balances and required documentation.
- Submit and monitor Medicaid billing and reimbursement activity.
- Follow up on outstanding claims payments and account discrepancies.
- Work closely with internal teams to resolve issues and ensure timely payment collection.
- Track account activity and provide updates on payment status.
- Ensure all accounts are reconciled and payments are received by the end of each month.
Qualifications:
- Strong communication and relationship-management skills.
- Highly organized with excellent follow-up abilities.
- Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience in healthcare administration medical billing Medicaid or accounts receivable preferred.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and computer systems.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned accounts.
