Qualifying Questions:

• Are you a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance

• Do you meet the educational and experience requirements for this role

• Can you commute to the job location or relocate if necessary

Summary:

• Performs mechanical and harness routing design activities for installation of flight test equipment and data system components.

• Releases engineering drawings and work instructions.

• Supports airworthiness documentation.

• Monitors fabrication activities.

• Supports aircraft modification.

• Applies 2D and 3D mechanical design in aerospace environment.

• Uses CATIA V5 for design activities.

• Supports Flight Test Instrumentation team for F-35 programs.

• Preferred: Experience with instrumentation (flight or ground).

• Preferred: Experience with F-35 program-specific tools and processes.

Requirements:

• Active Secret clearance.

• Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering aeronautical engineering or related discipline.

• 3-5 years of CATIA V5 experience.

• 3-5 years of 2D or 3D mechanical design experience in an aerospace environment.

• Preferred: Previous experience with instrumentation (flight or ground).

• Preferred: Previous experience with F-35 program-specific tools and processes.
