Are you passionate about turning ideas into real-world products Join Lennox as a Mechanical Designer II where youll help design and develop the components that power industry-leading HVAC solutions. Working alongside engineers and manufacturing teams youll create innovative production-ready designs that improve product performance manufacturability and customer experience.

DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Design and develop complex 3D models components and assemblies for residential HVAC products using Creo.
  • Create production-ready engineering drawings assemblies and manufacturing documentation that meet company and ASME standards.
  • Collaborate with mechanical engineers and cross-functional teams to develop innovative manufacturable product designs while following established engineering standards and best practices.
  • Develop detailed part models assemblies and engineering documentation supporting new product development and sustaining engineering initiatives.
  • Ensure designs meet functional manufacturing quality and cost objectives while maintaining product consistency across platforms.
  • Recommend and implement design improvements that enhance manufacturability reliability quality and overall product performance.

What We Are Looking For

Required:

  • Associates degree in mechanical design and drafting.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with 3D Modeling and layout of electromechanical systems and components.
  • Applied experience in creating Engineering drawings and layouts per ASME 14.1; and applying dimensioning and tolerancing per ASME Y14.5.
  • Proficient in using and navigating through Product Lifecycle Management tools such as Windchill.
  • Strong communication skills.

Preferred:

  • Certified HVAC designer under ISO 17024
  • Experience with Creo Parametric Design Essential 7.0 or later.
  • Experience in using SAP Production System (P00)
  • Experience in creating and documenting Engineering Change Requests and Notices for production using Windchill.
  • Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) per ASME Y14.5M
What We Offer

Compensation: This is a salaried non-exempt role. This means that employees are paid a salary and also receive overtime pay when they work more than 40 hours in a week (or as otherwise required by state law). The starting salary range for this role and market is between $67000 - $88200 annually. Factors that may affect starting salary include geography/market and the skills education experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for the BroadBase Incentive (BBI) program with a target payout of 2%.

Location and Schedule: This position is located in Carrollton TX and will be in the office Monday through Friday.
