In this role you will be working as a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer for a client in the Manufacturing Industry. This position will be responsible for mechanical designs that meet cost and schedule objectives and customer requirements.

This position is a contract to possible hire role that is a long term need for my client. This role must be worked on-site.

Requirements

Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering
2 years experience
Ability to do 3D design - Experience with Inventor and NX preferred
Experience with equipment or sheet metal knowledge is preferred
Experience with attending job kick-off meetings and participating in design reviews with customers
Prepare and update task lists
Track schedules and budgets
Review and approve drawings
Interface with other departments to resolve questions and technical issues
