Assemblers are responsible for producing components by assembling parts and subassemblies.
Read and comprehend instructions and follow established procedures
Collect all materials and equipment needed to begin the process
Report on issues malfunctions or defective parts
Must have good technical knowledge and possess great manual dexterity (skill in performing tasks with hands)
Ability to read instructions represented in manuals drawings schematics etc. and follow them with precision and follow established procedures
Ability in using tools and machines
Good communication skills
Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical condition
Demonstrated punctual and dependable performance
Ability to work in a high-paced environment
Position requires the ability to stand for prolonged periods of time
Position may require bending kneeling and stooping
Previous experience working in the metal manufacturing industry is preferred
Exposed to shop elements such as noise dust odors oil and chemicals
