Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Mechanic to join our team in New Orleans Louisiana. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing repairing and maintaining a variety of equipment and vehicles while ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and vehicles.
- Diagnose mechanical hydraulic electrical and diesel engine issues.
- Repair and replace defective parts and components.
- Conduct inspections and identify maintenance needs.
- Complete work orders and maintenance documentation accurately.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of mechanic experience preferred.
- Experience with diesel engines heavy equipment or industrial equipment is a plus.
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems.
- Familiarity with preventative maintenance programs.
- Valid drivers license required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varying environmental conditions.
Pay/Benefits
- $24.00 - $28.00 Per Hour
