Responsibilities

Job Summary

The incumbent will be responsible to work independently with the installation repair and maintenance and troubleshooting of electronic systems and equipment.

  • Install troubleshoot repair and maintain electronic systems and equipment used in Industrial manufacturing
  • Maintain electronic systems and programmable logic controllers.
  • Have basic knowledge of gas-driven (pneumatic) and liquid-driven (hydraulic) systems and be able to maintain these systems on schedule and as needed.
  • Light fabrication work/welding.
  • Troubleshoot diagnose and repair in an industrial manufacturing environment.
  • Must be PC literate and MS office proficient.
  • Must be able to accurately read electrical schematic drawings
  • Work effectively within a team environment.
  • Work on platforms ladders etc. as necessary.
  • Ability to prioritize maintenance objects to coincide with production.
  • Must work independently.

Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Knowledge: At least 3-5 years related industrial mechanical experience. Proficient mechanical and electrical skills required; as well as good interpersonal organization planning and communication skills. Must be computer literate and able to read electrical schematics.

Education: A high school diploma or equivalent required. Applicants should possess a diploma or certificate in electronic or electrical repair. An associate degree preferred but not necessary.

Physical Abilities: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Must be able to withstand the physical pressures of constant standing walking bending climbing kneeling crouching reaching sitting extremes of hot and cold as well as carrying lifting pushing and pulling heavy objects. Must be able to work in an industrial setting.
