About the Role
We are hiring an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week contract in York ME. This role includes general nuclear medicine testing at the main campus and nuclear stress testing at a cardiology outpatient office.
Responsibilities
Perform general nuclear medicine studies and cardiac nuclear studies
Support nuclear stress testing procedures
Perform IV insertion as required
Handle and store radioactive materials safely
Maintain accurate and detailed exam documentation
Communicate with cardiologists and radiologists to ensure quality exams
Support American College of Radiography Nuclear Medicine accreditation standards
Follow State of Maine radioactive materials license requirements
Provide safe compassionate and high-quality patient care
Requirements
Minimum 1 year of nuclear medicine experience preferred
CNMT licensure required
BLS/BCLS certification required
Nuclear medicine and cardiac study experience preferred
Strong documentation and communication skills
Ability to work Monday Friday day shift
