Key Responsibilities
Support the execution of commodity and supplier management strategies under the guidance of senior team members.
Assist in maintaining supplier agreements and related documentation that support business relationships between Applied Materials and its supply base.
Participate in Product Lifecycle Management (PLC) processes to ensure alignment with sourcing and commodity plans.
Support supplier onboarding qualification and disengagement activities as required.
Analyze supplier market and spend data to support sourcing decisions and business objectives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering Global Supply Chain Quality Manufacturing and Procurement.
Prepare reports presentations and business analyses to support supplier management initiatives and reviews.
Functional Knowledge
Demonstrates foundational knowledge of supply chain sourcing business engineering or related disciplines gained through academic coursework internships or project experience.
Develops an understanding of supplier management processes commodity strategies and procurement best practices.

Develops understanding of semiconductor industry supply chains supplier relationships and operational processes.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Business Engineering Operations Management Finance Economics or a related field completed within the last 12 months.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel PowerPoint and other business applications.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced cross-functional environment.

YesThe salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location hire grade job-related knowledge skills experience and with consideration of internal equity of our current team addition to a comprehensive benefits package candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program as applicable.
For all sales roles the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
