Job Title: Materials Designer III
Location: Beaverton OR

Hybrid: Mon Thurs onsite Fri remote

Role Summary:

• Location and/or time zone: PHK some Fridays will be on campus
• Team details & who they will work with: In line work for SB partnerships and signature and core products

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Minimum required years of experience: 5 YOE in Creative Footwear Material Design
• Education requirements: Bachelors or equivalent experience

Must have skills:

• Experience working on multiple segments of a line
• Interest or knowledge in Skateboarding sneaker culture or streetwear
• Portfolio: Examples of recent work come in with ideas for the SB brand shows taste level and approach to the project shows process of design - successes and failures

Nice to have skills:

• Basic understanding of Leathers canvases uppers synthetics wovens and meshes. Bonus - footwear trims
• Understands the business aspects of material design
• Technical knowledge of materials
