Master Data Management (MDM) Manager

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Master Data Management (MDM) Manager to lead the governance quality and operational management of Item/Product Master Data across the organization.

This role will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy consistency integrity and governance of enterprise master data while leading a team of Data Stewards and partnering with cross-functional business and technology stakeholders. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership capabilities deep MDM expertise and experience driving process improvement initiatives within enterprise ERP and MDM environments.

• Serve as the final approver for all new product/item requests and master data changes
• Ensure compliance with enterprise data governance policies standards and business rules
• Maintain accountability for the quality integrity consistency and accuracy of item master data
• Act as the escalation point for complex data issues governance exceptions and process conflicts
• Establish and maintain data standards workflows and governance procedures

• Lead mentor and develop a team of Data Stewards and data management professionals
• Provide coaching performance feedback and career development support
• Oversee daily operational workflows and prioritize work assignments effectively
• Ensure established SLAs and operational performance metrics are consistently achieved
• Foster a culture of accountability collaboration and continuous improvement

• Partner closely with IT Supply Chain Procurement Finance Operations and Sales teams to align master data processes with business objectives
• Develop and enhance enterprise data governance frameworks and best practices
• Lead initiatives focused on improving data quality operational efficiency and process standardization
• Define monitor and report on KPIs related to data quality workflow performance and governance compliance
• Support enterprise transformation and digital modernization initiatives involving master data

• Collaborate on dashboards and reporting solutions to monitor data quality and team performance
• Ensure effective utilization of MDM platforms and ERP systems to enforce governance standards
• Support system enhancements integrations automation initiatives and process optimization efforts
• Utilize reporting and analytics tools to identify trends risks and improvement opportunities

• Bachelors degree in Business Administration Information Technology Computer Science Data Management or a related field

• 5 years of experience in Master Data Management Data Governance or Data Quality
• 2 years of experience leading or managing data-focused teams
• Hands-on experience managing Item/Product Master Data within ERP or MDM environments
• Experience working with enterprise platforms such as:
  • SAP
  • Oracle
  • Informatica
  • Stibo
  • Other MDM/ERP systems

• Strong understanding of MDM principles governance frameworks and data quality best practices
• Experience with SQL or similar querying/reporting tools
• Familiarity with visualization and reporting platforms such as Tableau or Power BI
• Understanding of downstream business impacts related to Inventory Procurement Finance Supply Chain and POS systems
• Experience supporting workflow optimization and process improvement initiatives
