Marketing Logistics Specialist I

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Marketing Logistics Specialist Iisresponsible for supporting the coordination and execution oflogisticsactivities related to Marketing assets including inventory management shipping and trade show support. This role ensuresaccuratetimely and efficient movement of materials whilemaintainingproper documentation and supporting operational effectiveness within the Marketing function.

This role is working onsite at Gentex in Zeeland MI.

WHAT YOULL DO

• Manage Marketing warehouse operations including inventory shipping receiving and records.

• Maintain Marketing assets including trade show displays presentation and demo equipment and other materials.

• Coordinatetimelyaccurateshipment and delivery of Marketing assets.

• Track shipments and escalate delays discrepancies or issues.

• Assistwith standard reports bid comparisons and carrier rate analyses.

• Reviewlogisticsdocuments for accuracy including bills of lading packing lists and invoices.

• Maintain supplier carrier and freight forwarder databases and basic performance tracking.

• Support root-cause analysis and process improvements for recurringlogisticsissues.

• Collaborate across Marketing Logistics and other teams to support shipment flow.

• Support special projects such as expedited shipments packaging studies and carrier audits.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

WHAT TO BRING

• Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Logistics Business Marketing or related field.

• 2 years of experience inlogistics shipping/receiving inventory management ora related role.

• Basic understanding of shipping processes documentation and carrier coordination.

• Strong organizational and communication skills.

• Ability to obtain certificationandoperateall applicable material handling equipment including but not limited to industrial lift trucks.

• Ability to work nonstandard hours as needed to support shipping schedules and events.

• Proficiencyin Microsoft Office Suite.

• Occasional travel may be.

WHAT WILL HELP

• Experience with inventory tracking systems or databases.

• Proficiencyin Adobe Creative Suite.

• Chauffers License orabilityto obtain one.

• Electrical/mechanical/automotive aptitude.
